Snap the trigger.
Watch a reservoir open.

One evening, one table: print-ready hardware that moves, the firm-power frontier on the wall, and every number carrying its label. Take the demonstrator in your hands — hold it, command it, watch the passage open.

On the table

SL-D01 · the folding-brace demonstrator

Commandable reservoir reconfiguration at hand scale. A compression-loaded folding brace holds the gate; snap the sacrificial trigger bridge, pull the key, the brace folds and the port opens. Print-ready STL/STEP/DXF — zero solid interference across the full motion verified.

Animated top view of the Shift-Latch demonstrator: the brace holds the gate, the command key withdraws, the brace folds and the port window opens.
What it does: hold → command → release. The near-straight brace locks the gate; one command frees the knee and the stored load opens the passage.
SL-D01 folding-brace demonstrator in the held state: the near-straight brace holds the gate over the port window.
Held → commanded → released (below): 19.90 → 71.41 mm knee travel, 56 mm gate stroke.
SL-D01 in the released state: the brace folded, the gate clear of the port window.

The firm-power frontier

$30–45/MWh at nuclear-class availability — the only source inside the dominance zone. The band is the product: R6S superhot at today's conversion class is $37.19/MWh nominal and holds the band across 77–99.9 % of declared stress boxes simulated; the 320 °C row at real cost is $45.72/MWh nominal, and $30 is the design spec $24.58/MWh at ≈$970/gross-kW simulated.

Thermal movement, in metal

The ThermoSlip fit-and-stroke demonstrator: telescoping tubes, guides and stops across a 250 × 250 × 1000 mm envelope. Hand-crank the stroke and see how a well survives 25 years of transients fit geometry.

The instrument nobody has

Superhot wells die at the hours nobody measured. The duty map says it plainly: above 375 °C there is no qualification service — the 500-hour cell at 450 °C is the company simulated to date.

The audited ladder

Spec rows $61.65 → $29.80/MWh, one named invention per rung — Shift-Latch, Clear-Chemistry, Conversion, Ember-BHCT, Flex-Seal. Different project definitions, never additive; the reinforced run reproduces the $29.80 row exactly before re-pricing at real cost. Five mechanisms, five virtual campaigns, every falsifier executed model.

The platform, live

Relay execution replays, the Invention series view, and the economics with live sliders. Every claim on screen carries its provenance label — the honesty is designed in running code.

Print it. Bring it. Hand it over.

This page prints to A4 as the show sheet. The frontier chart prints to A2 from its own tab. The demonstrator parts print flat with no supports — STLs and the build sheet are in hardware/shiftlatch-demo/, with spare trigger bridges (print ten per unit — each command consumes one).
